Just love our August quilt.  We have a square for the Brown Bear unit and one for Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.

Our color groups for guided reading!  We are on our way with small group instruction.

Books for guided reading.

We are all enjoying Readers Workshop.  The anchor charts are reviewed daily.

Here is the chart we worked on this week!

We had our first review of the letters and sounds we have learned the past two and a half weeks.
Have your child practice saying the letter, the sound and the picture.  You might post the chart in his/her room.

Today was Rainbow day!  We loved the hats and the kids enjoyed the M&M candy math color sort.

Mr. B came for a visit and took a picture for Spirit day with kids wearing ties and dressing like Mr.B.

We worked on an activity for retelling Brown Bear.

Carpet time and instruction.
Next week we will do more activities with the story Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.

  2. I love the font you used for you "Reader Respect" (the title) anchor chart, may I ask what font it is?
