Happy Holidays!

Mrs.Espinosa doing a TLC lesson of the Nutcracker

The kids did such a great job!  Our listening and following directions continue to improve!

We built gingerbread (graham cracker) houses the day before our party.

Holiday Party fun and centers!  This is our holiday bingo center with Nathan Shea (Matt's brother)

At this center, we are making candy cane ornaments with tri-colored beads.

Making Reindeer hats and packages of Magic Reindeer food to help Santa find our homes.

At this center, we are making clay gingerbread men necklaces with bead patterns.

The best center - decorating our houses with as much candy as possible

The fun centers are done, now the wonderful food and treats.

A busy day with lots of fun activities and goodies to eat.

Gingerbread Man Week

We had so much fun this week.  We read six different versions of the Gingerbread man and compared them.  We had many gingerbread centers.  We decorated clay gingerbread men for our tree ornaments.  Finally, on Friday, we went on a hunt for the cookies we made in class that ran away.
This is our chart comparing the different Gingerbread man stories.

Happy Thanksgiving!

November quilt

Singing our Thanksgiving songs for the program.

Our sponge painted owls and stories.
We had a wonderful program and the children had so much fun dressing up, singing songs and reciting poems.  They did a great job and I'm very proud of them.  Visit the photo gallery to see the pictures in our Indian costumes.
Thank you to all the parents who brought dessert and set up the beautiful table.  It was nice time visiting with all the families.
